Honda asked us to reimagine their Beyond the Blade YouTube mini-series, focusing on the stories behind their Road Racing Team. The aim was to move away from traditional highlight reels and instead deliver a more human, character-driven narrative that would connect with a wider audience.
The project required following Honda’s Road Racing Team over an 8-month period, across multiple UK locations and the legendary Isle of Man TT. The challenge was not only logistical — capturing vast amounts of content on the move — but also editorial: condensing hundreds of hours of filming into a YouTube-friendly format of 10–15 minutes per episode, without losing the authenticity and emotional depth.
We built a more naturalistic, human-centric series that put the riders and their stories front and centre.
All logistics, production, and editing were handled in-house.
Each episode was filmed, edited, and published within a month of shooting, keeping the content fresh and relevant.
Over 5 episodes, we produced more than an hour of engaging, documentary-style content designed for digital audiences.



The Beyond the Blade series gave audiences unprecedented access to Honda’s Road Racing Team, offering a behind-the-scenes perspective that celebrated both their victories and the people behind the machines.
The result was a refreshed, character-focused series that strengthened Honda’s digital storytelling, humanised their racing team, and provided fans with exclusive content that extended far beyond the racetrack.
